Angola travel guide

A short detour from the main road to Tundavala Gorge leads to this waterfall. There are multiple levels with several pools, but unfortunately the area is littered with empty beer cans. In 2014 two men went drunk driving and went over the edge and died. The car wreck still lies in the pool at the bottom of the falls.

Angola was at civil war from 1975 to 2002. Today you can still see war relics here and there throughout the country. Particularly, there are a handful of rusten tanks and MPVs shattered along the road between Xangongo and Ondjiva. However, the biggest collection is at Namacunda closer to the border to Namibia.
