The trip to Boga lake can be done in different ways. The cheap way involves a bus ride from Bandarban to Kykong Giri passing Chimbuk hill (598m). From here jump on the river boat to the trading settlement of Ruma Bazar. From here you can either walk all the way to Boga Lake or try to catch a jeep for Saira Dong and then walk the last 3-4 kilometres. The whole journey can be done in one long day. There are guest houses at Boga lake and the trip up to Mt Keokradang (986m) and back to Boga lake can also be done in one day. A good local guide can very useful to smoothing out things. Remember to get the necessary permissions from Bandarban District Commissioner before setting off.
